Chaired by our chapter's first Vice President, Noah Ahmed, our HOSA members attended Las Vegas' Jingle Bell Run. The Jingle Bell Run is affiliated with the Arthritis Foundation and is held yearly to support the cause of America's number one disability of arthritis. The Jingle Bell Run is a great way to advocate and raise awareness for a good cause, be festive during the holiday season, and participate in community service. Our members participated in their various volunteering stations. Overall, our members enjoyed this service event and hope to volunteer again at next year's Jingle Bell Run.
The annual Career and Technical Student Organization Fall Leadership Rally took place December 6, 2017. CTSOs such as FBLA, DECA, and last but not least, HOSA, attended at the Cashman Center in Las Vegas. Those who attended were taught proper dining etiquette and attended symposiums that gave our HOSA members insight to how leadership can influence their career path's and how, as a leadership organization, HOSA implements the core value of leadership into their HOSA experience. Guest speakers such as the Nevada HOSA State President, Emily Carter, and various motivational speakers had given presentations at our Fall Leadership Rally event.
