Hey guys! We also fundraise by selling HOSA Merchandise! Below are some of the products that we are selling. One of our products are CPR Keychains and are selling for $3. These keychains are miniature packages with a pair of gloves and a 1 way respiration mask. These devices are useful to have at all times, incase you need to perform CPR without the risk of disease or infection. These keychains are really neat and are good conversation starters to talk about HOSA and your medical training. Another product we are selling are HOSA t-shirts and are selling for $10. These are stylish shirts designed by our very own HOSA officer McKenzie Smith; an amazing artist who not only designed our shirts, but also designed our Nevada State Pin, which is the logo on the shirts. These shirts support HOSA and push our organization closer to cheaper prices for State and Nationals. We hope to see our members rocking our merchandise and getting the word out about our organization and what we stand for.
The carnival was a big success with the students. At first, nobody was really buying any Shirley Temples, but over time, people started to cut loose and really enjoy the carnival. We had many of our HOSA members running Shirley Temples all throughout the carnival and the game. The booth was always lively with new faces coming buy to enjoy the drinks that our HOSA members made. The officers were an integral part of the carnival and helped make it a success. Everyone that participated did an amazing job and we thank all members that helped out. Overall, we made about $270 that we are able to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society This is an amazing milestone for fundraising in our NWCTA group and we hope that next year we can do even better.
